Do you know you need to do something to help your team and you don’t know how?
Do you wonder how you can help your team take better care of themselves?
Are people leaving your team and saying it's a toxic culture? Do you wonder if it's true?
Do you struggle with your own deteriorating health because you don't have time to care for yourself?
Do you wrestle with the idea that you might be a negative influence and you don't know how to stop it?
Do you sigh in sadness when you see your teammates gossiping, back-biting and whining?
This program is designed specifically for emergency communicators to access HOW to create and maintain a holistic approach to team culture. We begin with you and your personal resilience in Your E.P.I.C. Life Awaits. The second module Develop an E.P.I.C. Team addresses interpersonal communications when giving feedback. The third module, We Don’t Talk About . . . dives into the challenge of addressing grief and mourning in the ECC. Learning to navigate the muddy waters after a tragic event will empower your leadership quality.
The workshop experience will include:
1. A deeper understanding of the risks of Compassion Fatigue, PTSD, Excessive Stress, and Burnout.
2. Powerful concepts of the areas of well-being that contribute to a life you love.
3. Principles of creating intentional health habits for body-mind-spirit.
4. A framework to address sensitive issues in a manner that builds relationships.
5. The lasting benefits of a comprehensive program that equips your communications personnel to:
If you could make this better without outside help, wouldn’t you have done so by now?
Delay will allow the downhill slide to continue, and gain momentum.
I’m a team culture consultant. After I retired from full time chaplaincy, I now help teams develop powerful supportive relationships even as each member improves their own well-being.
In doctoral work I developed a powerful strategy. This program not only enlivens individuals to shape their lives into revived energy, reclaimed health, and renewed relationships, it also reinvigorates teams. I guide teams to develop an experience for the group to participate in together.
What I do is different because your experiential practice is both light-hearted and fun. It is also a serious weapon in the arsenal to guard against the physical-emotional and spiritual demise of people on the front lines.
In the process individuals become stronger; the supportive skills developed in the practice bond the individuals into stronger teams.
The practice is play; the results work.
When I was in the headset, I wanted to lead my team from conflicted to cooperative and didn’t know what to do. I really needed someone like me to guide me. I am thrilled to be that person for you.
Through years of education and valuable experience in both counseling and chaplaincy, I have honed a unique framework. My creative approach invites conversations about traditionally stigmatized aspects of mental health.
I am honored to champion the greater health of my sisters and brothers in the thin gold line . . . and beyond.
